Postponement options are being explored for the 2020 Cornfield Cornfield. We are currently looking into a wide variety of options for the date, location, and other details. In addition to a postponed in-person event, we will also provide a virtual run for anyone who is unable or chooses not to run in-person. We want to be transparent that it may be necessary to eventually transition the entire event to a virtual run, however we are working hard to provide an in-person event later in the year and will not be holding the event on the original date of June 13th. Learn more here.

I just found out I won’t be able to participate. Can I get my money back, or transfer my registration?

As stated on the registration waiver and instructions, race fees are not refundable, nor are they transferable from year to year or person to person. Once you are signed up, race fees are used for race expenses and cannot be returned.

Can a friend pick up my packet for me?

We currently allow you to pick up packets for as many friends as you’d like with a simple stroke of the pen (signature). If this privilege is abused, we will be forced to ask for photo ID and proxy forms. Please don’t abuse this and give a bib to someone that didn’t register. These runners are considered bandits and are a major liability to us. Anyone caught running as a bandit will receive a 1 year ban to all BRIN running events.

I was unable to run as planned, can I still get my packet?

Yes. After race day shirts are available on a first come first serve basis. All you need to do is simply fill out a shirt exchange form.

Is there an age restriction for any of the BRIN events?

While BRIN events are open to all ages, please pay attention to course time limits when registering youngsters for certain events.

Are pets allowed in the event?

We’re sorry, but pets and wheeled conveyances, including baby joggers or strollers, skateboards, bicycles, and skates, are not permitted at BRIN events.

I’m a very slow runner. Can I still run the race?

Runners and walkers are welcome to compete at BRIN events, provided they can complete the course within the time limits set forth for each event (listed below). If you’re relatively slow, however, you should stay toward the right-hand side of the course. Be sure not to stop suddenly or veer into the paths of other runners. If you’re running with friends, run no more than two abreast to keep traffic on the course moving smoothly.

Do I need my ID for the After Party?

If you would like to enjoy an adult beverage you will need your state-issued photo ID. NO EXCEPTIONS!

What can I expect for my registration fee?

While each event is unique in its own right, we pride ourselves on being a running series for runners, by runners! As fellow runners, here is what we expect when we run an event and what you can expect from our races: A kick-ass race tee, a quality, well-marked & staffed course, a souvenir race bib, a great SWAG bag full of goodies from our sponsors, an extra giveaway item (koozie, stadium cup, etc), a ticket to the After Party. Check out each event for specifics!

My shirt doesn't fit. Can I exchange it for a different size?

Exchanges can be made AFTER the event is complete. The size that was selected when you registered was what we ordered. Our race tees are a unisex cotton/poly blend that can be considered an athletic fit. If you like a looser fit, we suggest ordering a size up.

Where is bag drop?

There is no bag drop for this race as parking is incredibly close to the start/finish line. You’ll easily be able to access your items from your car!
